Kamala Harris chooses her running mate for the election

On Tuesday, US Vice President Kamala Harris announced to the Governor of Minnesota, Tim Walzas his running mate for the elections November presidential elections.

The now representative of the Democratic Party after Joe Biden’s withdrawal will appear at a press conference with the official in the city of Philadelphia on August 6.

According to the Democratic National Committee, Kamala Harris had 99% support to be the party’s representative in the elections in which she will face Donald Trumprepublican figure.

From the White House, President Biden noted that this duo represents the “stronger defenders of our personal freedoms and our democracy. They will ensure that America continues to lead the world and play a role as an indispensable nation.”.

But criticism was felt on the side of the Republican Party, with Trump lashing out at US vice president’s running mate: “If Walz won’t tell voters the truth, we will: Like Kamala Harris, Tim Walz is a dangerous left-wing extremist”.

The former president’s campaign added that “Although Walz pretends to support Americans from the heartland, when the cameras are off, he believes that rural America is mostly ‘made up of cows and rocks.’”.
