Kamala Harris sent a message about the presidential elections

US Executive Vice President Kamala Harris spoke out this Sunday about the presidential elections taking place this Sunday in Venezuela.

The Democratic presidential candidate also called for “respecting the will of the Venezuelan people.” She also said that the United States will continue “working for a more democratic, prosperous and secure future” in the country.

“The United States stands with the people of Venezuela who made their voices heard in today’s historic presidential election. The will of the Venezuelan people must be respected. Despite the many challenges, we will continue to work toward a more democratic, prosperous, and secure future for the people of Venezuela,” Harris wrote on Twitter.

The message was broadcast at the end of the day and before the votes were counted and the final result of the electoral contest, in which ten candidates are participating, was known.
