A paparazzi denounced the American rapper Kanye West, now known as Ye, for assault and violation of her civil rights alleging that she was attacked while practicing her profession in January.
The lawsuit was filed in Ventura County (California, USA) and this Thursday the photojournalist, named Nichol Lechmanikand his lawyer Gloria Allred, offered a press conference in which they described that the The artist also took his mobile phone from him and threw it once morest the asphalt.
As detailed, the photographer was inside her car waiting for the departure of Kim Kardashianex-partner of the defendant, from a sporting event when he noticed that West and another paparazi were having a heated confrontation, so he began recording the scene.
The rapper realized that Lechmanik was filming and went to his vehicle to snatch the mobile from his hands “with anger” and then throw it into the street, the woman explained.
“It scared me a lot. Since then I have not been seen. Your actions have interfered with my ability to work (…) I am determined to defend myself and let him know that he must change his aberrational behavior”, stressed Lechmanik.

The woman also assured that that same day she contacted the Police to report West’s behavior, but that, so far, Authorities have not filed charges once morest the musician.
Allred specified that the plaintiff seeks compensation for damages, as well as an injunction preventing Ye from interfering in any way with the right of Lechmanik and other photographers to carry out their work.
This is not the first time that the lawyer has faced West legally, since Allred defended in 2013 another photographer who had allegedly been attacked by the rapper, for which he assured that he hopes that the authorities carry out “effective actions” to curb the “aggressive behavior” of the artist.
