The Minnesota Wild defeated the Nashville Predators 4-3 in a home game of the regular season of the National Hockey League (NHL).

As part of the hosts, Brandon Duheim (21st minute), Kirill Kaprizov (22, 42) and Ryan Hartman (60) scored goals, while Thomas Novak (38), Roman Yosi (56) and Nino Niederreiter (60) scored for the guests.

In this match, Kaprizov scored the 15th goal in the five-on-four powerplay this season and repeated the club’s record for this indicator set by Brian Rolston (2005/2006).

In just 56 games of the current championship, Kaprizov scored 33 goals and made the same number of assists. He became the leader in goals in the season among Russians, beating Alexander Ovechkin (32).

In another game of the day, the Colorado Avalanche beat the Edmonton Oilers (6:5) in overtime. The winners have the puck on the account of the Russian striker Valery Nichushkin, who hit the goal for the tenth time this season.

Russian defender “Ottawa Senators” Artem Zub was marked by the transfer in a victorious match with the “St. Louis Blues” (7:2).
