The goals for Kara’s new club were scored by former Brazilian team player Alexandre Pato (49′) and Benji Michel (59′), who was ruled out for the ex-Rapidler. Kara was thrown back in preparation by an ankle injury. Orlando’s next game is next Saturday at the Chicago Fire.

Coach Gerhard Struber’s New York Red Bulls started the season with a 3-1 win over the San Jose Earthquakes on Saturday. Former ÖFB captain Christian Fuchs conceded a 3-0 loss at DC United on his MLS debut with Charlotte FC. The 35-year-old full-back played through for the league newcomer.
