Russian tennis player Daria Kasatkina failed to reach the third round of the WTA tournament in Doha.

In the second round match, the 25-year-old Russian woman, seeded at the tournament under the sixth number, lost to the Brazilian Beatriz Haddad-Maya with a score of 3:6, 6:7 (7:9).

In the next match, Haddad-Maya, the 12th racket of the world, will play with the American Jessica Pegula (4).

Kasatkina takes eighth place in the WTA ranking (the best of the Russians). She has won six WTA tournaments in her career.
