Russian tennis player Daria Kasatkina failed to reach the third round of the WTA tournament in Doha.
In the second round match, the 25-year-old Russian woman, seeded at the tournament under the sixth number, lost to the Brazilian Beatriz Haddad-Maya with a score of 3:6, 6:7 (7:9).
In the next match, Haddad-Maya, the 12th racket of the world, will play with the American Jessica Pegula (4).

Kasatkina takes eighth place in the WTA ranking (the best of the Russians). She has won six WTA tournaments in her career.
Finished the fight in the tournament and another Russian woman – Ekaterina Aleksandrova. In the second round, she lost to the Greek Maria Sakkari with a score of 3:6, 2:6.
Of the Russians, only Veronika Kudermetova reached the third round, her opponent will be the American Corey Gauff.
The tournament in Doha will end on February 19. The prize fund of the competition is $780.6 thousand.
The match between Kudermetova and Gauff will take place on Thursday. The betting company Fonbet accepts bets on the victory of the Russian woman with a coefficient of 2.41, the American – 1.57.
