Kochi: Indian Super League football club Kerala Blasters has extended the contract of veteran goalkeeper Karanjeet Singh. The contract has been extended till 2024.
Karanjeet has been with Blasters for two years. He reached Blasters in January 2021. Became a part of the Indian team 17 times. Karanjeet played 49 matches in the Indian Super League and did not concede a goal in 13 matches. Born in Punjab, Karanjeet started playing football at the age of 15. In 2004, JCT Karanjeet joined Phagwara FC and stayed there for six seasons. Came to Salgaokar in 2010-11 season. He won the I-League title in his debut season. followed by I.S.L. The club reached Chennaiyin FC. Played from 2015 to 2019. 2015 and 2018 ISL Won the title.
