Aizawl: Kerala Blasters’ young midfielder Freddy Lallavmavma was injured in a bike accident. The accident took place in his native Mizoram. The shoulder and jaw were seriously injured. The actor underwent emergency surgery and is resting. Twenty-one-year-old Freddie joined Blasters this year from Punjab FC. The contract is for three years.
The injury to Freddie, a defensive midfielder, has been a setback for Blasters. Another defensive midfielder, Jackson Singh, is out after surgery on a shoulder injury he sustained in the match against Mumbai City. Instead of Jackson, Freddie was to be relied upon for the upcoming matches. Defenders Croatian Marko Leskovic and Eban Doling are already sidelined with injuries. Blasters are currently second behind FC Go in the ISL with 13 points after winning four out of six games.
