Kerala Government Neglects Asian Games Medal Winners: PR Sreejesh

Kishkanambalam (Kochi) ∙ Hockey player PR Sreejesh criticized the state government. Sreejesh alleged that the Kerala government is completely ignoring the winners of the Asian Games in other states while awarding crores.

Even if you win a medal in the Asian Games, there is a mindset that there is no value in the country. This will reduce the interest in sports,” said Sreejesh.

Minister P. Rajeev congratulated Sreejesh by calling him on the phone. Rajeev said that he tried to call Sreejesh on the day India won the gold, but he did not get through. Sreejesh said that Minister Rajiv used to call him and was thankful for his kind words.
