The retail price of “original chicken” (1 piece) is 290 yen.

Japan Kentucky Fried Chicken, a subsidiary of KFC Holdings Japan, will revise the menu price from March 8th. “Original chicken” will be 290 yen (tax included), which is 30 yen higher. Rising raw material costs, logistics costs, labor costs, energy costs, etc. will be passed on to product prices.

“Tokutoku Pack 4 Piece” is 100 yen higher at 1490 yen, “Japanese Style Chicken Katsu Burger” is 10 yen higher at 400 yen, “Original Chicken Set” is 100 yen higher at 940 yen, and “Nugget 3 Piece” is 20 yen higher. Each will be raised to 290 yen.

Prices for some classic burgers, such as chicken fillet burgers, and kids’ sets remain unchanged.

The price of the delivery menu will also be raised. The original chicken will be priced at 350 yen, an increase of 60 yen, the Tokoku 4-piece will be priced at 1,850 yen, an increase of 260 yen, the Japanese-style chicken cutlet burger will be priced at 500 yen, an increase of 50 yen, and the drink (medium size) will be priced at 340 yen, an increase of 70 yen.
