(Daily Daegu Gyeongbuk News = Reporter Hwang Ji-hyeon) Kim Cheon Sang-moo Kim Jun-beom, who achieved 100 professional games, showed a strong will to stay in the K League 1.

Gimcheon Sangmu Professional Football Team (CEO Bae Nak-ho) won 1-0 against Incheon United in the last home match of the ‘Hana One Q K League 1 2022’ 33R regular league held at the Gimcheon Sports Complex on September 18th. On this day, Kim Jun-beom started his career and achieved 100 games in his personal professional career.

Kim Jun-beom said, “It feels really good to be able to bring up to three points by winning 100 games. Many fans congratulating the 100 games came to the stadium and cheered. We were able to win thanks to the fans who cheered for us.”

After completing his sophomore year at Yonsei University in 2017, Kim Jun-beom joined Gyeongnam FC as a free starter. In the 2018 and 2019 seasons, he recorded 2 goals and 3 assists in 52 games. The 1 goal and 3 assists he achieved in the 2019 season is a career high in attack points. Kim Jun-beom, who played two seasons after moving to Incheon in 2020, chose to enlist in the military in 2022.

After completing basic military training, Kim Jun-beom joined Kim Cheon-sang on July 21. Kim Jun-beom also raised expectations when he was named on the Pohang substitute list on August 2, just a week after his team training started.

Starting with the home match against FC Seoul on August 15th, Kim Jun-beom continues to play as a regular. Ulsan on the 21st and Jeonbuk on the 3rd of September also scored goals. He scored two goals in eight appearances for Gimcheon. It is the most offensive point in his personal career compared to the number of games played.

Kim Jun-beom said, “I keep craving for an attack point in my heart. He will continue to work hard in the future. At the current pace, he manages his condition well, so I think there will be good results if we raise it as it is.”

Kim Jun-beom, who scored two goals, said his goal this season was three goals and three assists. Regarding this, Kim Jun-beom said, “Director Kim Tae-wan raised his goal. He encouraged him that he could do better if he switched to 6 goals and 6 assists. He will do his best until the end of the season.”

He continued, “It fits well with what the director is ordering and my strengths. When I receive the ball from an offensive position, I am confident, and the manager makes use of that part well. I think he is the main reason for his performance.”

Achieving 100 professional matches and reversing the team atmosphere along with personal glory. Caught both rabbits. After a two-week break from Match A, Kim Cheon is set to resume the final round in early October.

Kim Jun-beom said, “The final goal is to stay in the K-League 1. All players are not thinking about relegation from K League 2. All the players are working hard to show even better performances in K League 1 next year. We ask for your support.”
