There was a price controversy regarding the opening of singer Kim Jong-kook’s shopping mall, but it ended with an apology, a sell-out, and a full donation.

I paid a lot of attention to this because it was something I would always wear. “It is sold in limited quantities,” he said.
Sleeveless T-shirts and short-sleeved T-shirts were uploaded to the shopping mall opened by Kim Jong-kook. There weren’t many products, just simple designs with the brand name written on them. Kim Jong-kook also began promoting the brand by posting photos of his fellow celebrities wearing his brand’s clothes.
However, controversy over price arose prematurely. Compared to the simple design, the price was set at around 40,000 won. In particular, the part where Kim Jong-kook said in the video, “It’s not expensive,” also added fuel to the price controversy.
In response, Kim Jong-kook said, “I’m telling you this sincerely, but it’s not like clothes that just put words on a T-shirt. I made it with sincerity and took a lot of care since I am picky about the fabric when I wear clothes. “I hope there is no misunderstanding as it is everyday wear and not functional sportswear,” he said. “We made a reasonable decision on the price after various inquiries. I would like to apologize if there was any misunderstanding in the video where the expression ‘it is not expensive’ was not objectively considered. “I don’t know much about this area, so please understand with an open mind,” he apologized.
The clothes uploaded to the shopping mall along with Kim Jong-kook’s apology were sold out. Kim Jong-kook said, “Thanks to the interest and support of many people, it sold out quickly. Is it okay to just ignore this gratitude? We plan to donate all proceeds to a meaningful cause. “I would like to once again express my gratitude to everyone who participated,” he added.
