Reality star Kim Kardashian appeared in court this week not as a lawyer or litigator, but as a potential juror in a mass murder case.
Kim has been in Van Nuys court all week, as part of the jury in a case in which two men were charged with killing another man in a gang-related crime.
And Kim made herself part of the group…eating snacks in the court lobby during breaks with other potential jurors. She was dressed more elegantly than most, wearing leather pants, high boots, and a white sleeveless blouse.
Late on, the lawyers agreed on 12 jurors and 4 alternate jurors… before Kim could be questioned at all, so she was dismissed and left the courtroom… after completing her jury service.
There were cameras from her show in the parking lot when she jumped into her SUV and left the courthouse.
The other potential jurors were not particularly impressed. They treated her as one of their own, and during the court session, Kim’s bodyguard sat next to her in the front row.
