King Albert II, hospitalized since June 27 following dehydration, will leave the Saint-Luc clinics in Brussels on Wednesday, in principle around 2:00 p.m., the Palace said at the end of the day on Tuesday.
Analyzes indicated that the former sovereign, hospitalized after showing symptoms of dehydration, had also contracted a blood infection, which was treated in recent days.
Albert II is doing well and will continue his recovery at home, the Palace said.
