Palace announced statement on the scandal interview
Here King Charles III. may well have thought about commenting on the revelations and headlines surrounding his youngest son. Anderson Cooper, moderator of the interview with Prince Harry, told The Mirror that the palace had been asked to comment in advance – and had even agreed under one condition:
Palace officials demanded that ’60 Minutes’ give them make our report available ahead of tonight’s broadcast, before considering an answer.
However, it was out of the question for the broadcaster to send the British royals the TV interview with Harry in advance, and so the royals apparently preferred to remain silent. How long they will continue to do so remains to be seen…
