King Salman congratulates Eid al-Fitr: The attacks on the Palestinians must be stopped and their independent state must be established

Saudi Arabia – The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, congratulated Muslims around the world on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr, stressing the need to stop attacks on the Palestinian people and end their suffering by enabling them to establish their independent state.

The Saudi King said in a speech on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, delivered on his behalf by Saudi Information Minister Salman bin Youssef Al-Dosari: “My sons and daughters, my brothers and sisters, citizens and residents, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Muslims everywhere.
May the peace, blessings, and mercy of God be upon you:
I congratulate you on Eid Al-Fitr and happy new year.
We thank God for completing the blessed month of Ramadan for us, and we ask Him, the Almighty, to accept our fasting and prayers from us and from you, and to bring it back to us with goodness and joy.
We thank God Almighty that we have reached the happy Eid al-Fitr, in which the meanings of mutual affection, compassion, love and tolerance are embodied.
God Almighty has bestowed upon us in our country, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, many blessings, including the blessing of united speech, unity of ranks, and the honor of serving the Two Holy Mosques, and the pilgrims, Umrah performers and visitors who go to them, continuing the path of the founder, King Abdulaziz bin Abdul Rahman – may God have mercy on him – and his sons, the kings of this blessed country. After him.
We thank God Almighty who has enabled millions of pilgrims, in the blessed month of Ramadan, to perform Umrah rituals with ease and ease, thanks to God, and then with the continuous efforts made by the state sectors to serve the guests of the Most Merciful, to facilitate the performance of their worship, and to carry out their rituals. We ask God to accept good deeds from us and from them.
As we welcome Eid al-Fitr this year, we affirm the necessity of stopping attacks on the Palestinian people, providing safe humanitarian and relief corridors, and ending their suffering by enabling them to obtain all their legitimate rights, including establishing their independent state and living in safety.
We ask God Almighty to preserve our country’s security, safety and stability, through His grace and generosity, Glory be to Him.
