Mark Kwisek, Jurgen Klopp’s agent, confirmed that he will continue with the team and that there are no indications that his departure is imminent.
Liverpool has suffered from fluctuating results since the beginning of the current season, and is currently ranked ninth in the English Premier League table, which caused rumors to emerge about Klopp’s future with the team.
But Koicek said in comments reported by the British newspaper, “Mirror”: “I can confirm that Jurgen Klopp has no intention of resigning from Liverpool, and the owners of the club have also taken into account the fact that problems may arise this season due to the pressure of matches since last season.”
He added: “Jurgen enjoys the support of those responsible and is in constant contact with them. He loves the club, his team and the fans and is determined to continue and complete his success here.”
And he concluded: “Klopp did not extend his contract until 2026 for nothing.”
Klopp took over the training of Liverpool in the middle of the 2015-2016 season, and since then led the team to crown seven titles, most notably the English Premier League (2019-2020), which was long-awaited for 30 years.
