This Saturday evening in downtown Liège, a small group of people crossed paths with a man born in 1993.
According to their statements, for no apparent reason, this individual attacked them, being aggressive, even threatening them with a knife. The group would then have taken to their heels but the suspect managed to catch up with one of its members, to whom he stabbed.
Wounded, the days of the victim are nevertheless not in danger.
The Liège police zone quickly intervened on the spot and was able to arrest the alleged perpetrator who, in his hearing, had acted in this way to defend himself. A testimony that goes against those filed by the other witnesses…
He was referred to the Liège public prosecutor’s office and an application for an arrest warrant was filed against him.
