Peter Freiburghaus was known for the duo Fischbach. He also took on the leading role in the film “Nebelgrind”. There he played a grandfather suffering from dementia. Likewise, an important protagonist in a season was «The Undertaker». Freiburghaus was 75 years old.
In 2017, the duo announced that they would not perform any further. This was justified at the time by Peter Freiburghaus suffering from skin cancer.
