Kochi: Parishilanam will be held from Wednesday to Saturday (April 6) for the officials who are part of the Lok Sabha elections. Collector NSK Umesh said that the officials who have been appointed for the election should appear for training at the centers allotted to them. The collector also informed that action will be taken once morest the non-attending employees as per the People’s Authority Act.
Form 12 applications for postal ballot will be distributed at these training centers for voters outside Ernakulam district. Second and third polling officers who have been ordered for election duty but are not assigned for training can also obtain and submit the application for postal ballot from the training centers who have votes outside Ernakulam district.
