Sajeev Krishnan killed, Arshad wanted by police

Kochi: The police have intensified the investigation into the incident in which a young man was found murdered in Kakanate flat. Sajeev Krishna (22), a native of Malappuram Vandoor, was found dead. Arshad, a native of Kozhikode Paioli, who was in the flat with Sajeev, has not been found yet. After killing the young man, his body was found hidden in the flat.

The head and body of the dead body were deeply injured. It is two days old. The body was inserted in a rectangular duct attached to the balcony of the flat where five youths, including Sajeev, lived on rent. The incident came to light when the three people who were staying with them came back from the excursion.

The body was covered with blankets and kept tied in a bed sheet. The investigation team is currently evaluating the missing youth’s crucial role in the murder. Arshad’s Paioli house was searched last night but he is absconding.

It is suspected that the phone of the murdered youth is in the hand of the missing Arshad. Friends received messages from this phone till yesterday afternoon. The message was that he was not there. It is suspected that the perpetrator took the phone and sent messages to others. Meanwhile, Arshad’s phone is switched off.
