Konstantin Khabensky Receives Order of Honor from Russian President Vladimir Putin

Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded the actor, theater and film director, artistic director of the Moscow Art Theater named after A.P. Chekhov Konstantin Khabensky with the Order of Honor. This is reported in the decree President of the Russian Federation.

“For contribution to the development of national culture and art, many years of fruitful activity,” the document says. Khabensky has worked at the Moscow Satyricon Theater since the mid-1990s. In total, the actor played more than 60 roles in films and TV series. In 2018, Khabensky made his debut as a film director; he directed the dramatic film Sobibor.

In addition, Putin awarded Tina Kandelaki the Order of Friendship. The deputy general director of Gazprom-Media Holding was noted “for his services to the development of the media and many years of conscientious work.”
