On the evening of the 16th, the Korean government will hold a working-level discussion with the United States on the issue of the electric vehicle tax credit under the Inflation Reduction Act via video.
This working-level meeting will be attended by representatives from relevant ministries such as Ministry of Strategy and Finance and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including Yoon Chang-hyeon, Director of Trade Policy Bureau of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.
Prior to this, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy held the 2nd public-private joint task force meeting on the US electric vehicle tax credit presided over today (16th) by Deputy Minister of Trade Dae-Jin Jeong to reconcile our position.
