Korea Racing Authority Launches Winter Programs With 10% Fee Cut

The Korea Racing Authority has announced its winter semester cultural center program, lowering standard tuition fees by 10% and introducing weekend yoga and pilates classes at select branches. Operating across 24 regional locations, the 10-week program runs from December 9 to February 18, with applications opening on November 4, as reported by Dailian.

Tuition Adjustments and Expanded Weekend Access

Standard tuition rates for the upcoming winter term have been fixed between 13,000 and 45,000 Korean won for the 10-week curriculum. To accommodate office workers facing scheduling constraints during regular business hours, the organization has designated select locations—including the Suwon branch—as test beds for weekend-only fitness sessions. The adjustments balance seasonal operational constraints, such as the Lunar New Year holiday break, while maintaining the structural scale established during the autumn term.

Vulnerable groups receive a 50% reduction in program fees. This concession applies directly to national merit recipients, basic livelihood security recipients, individuals with registered disabilities, and multi-child households, ensuring localized accessibility across all participating regional branches.

Program Parameter Winter Semester Specification
Operational Window December 9 – February 18 (10 Weeks)
Tuition Range 13,000 KRW – 45,000 KRW (10% below standard rates)
Concession Rate 50% discount for eligible groups (merit, disability, welfare)
Active Locations 24 regional branches nationwide

Executive Focus on Service Delivery

Lee Byung-woo, Vice President of the Korea Racing Authority, emphasized the operational intent behind the seasonal rollout. “Despite challenging management conditions, we prepared this winter semester thoroughly and substantively to keep our promise to local residents,” Lee stated, according to Dailian. He added that the organization intends to maximize participant satisfaction ratings through rigorous instructor oversight and continuous feedback channels.

Enrollment is processed digitally through the official cultural center portal via PC and mobile devices, or in person at individual regional offices until capacities are exhausted. Branch-specific timetables and application guidelines remain accessible through the organization’s web interface.
