On the 20th, the KOSPI closed at 2639.29, up 46.95 points (1.81%) from the previous trading day. In the KOSPI market that day, foreigners and institutions net bought 194 billion won and 837.4 billion won, respectively, raising the index. On the other hand, individuals net sold 1.39 trillion won.

Most of the top stocks by market cap ended higher. First of all, Samsung Electronics, the major stock of the KOSPI, rose 0.74% and SK Hynix 1.35%, respectively. ICT giants Naver (1.29%) and Kakao (3.23%) also rose. Kakao group stocks such as Kakao Bank (3.36%) and Kakao Pay (7.38%) also showed strength all at once.

Secondary battery-related stocks, LG Energy Solutions, jumped 4.45 percent and LG Chem, the parent company, jumped 8.57 percent, respectively. Game owner Krafton also rose 8.02%. In addition, SK Innovation (3.43%), Hyundai Mobis (3.85%), HMM (3.08%), Hana Financial Group (3.64%), and Hanwha Solutions (6.57%) rose more than 3%. On the other hand, S-Oil (-0.93%), KT&G (-0.12%) and KT (-1.10%) closed lower.

The stock that rose the most in the KOSPI market on that day was Koryo Industrial. On the other hand, the stocks that fell the most were Aprogen Pharmaceuticals and QV S&P500 VIX S/T Futures ETN C.

The KOSDAQ index closed at 879.88, up 16.08 points (1.86%) from the previous trading day. On the KOSDAQ market on that day, foreigners and institutions net bought 107.3 billion won and 107.4 billion won. On the other hand, individuals net sold 205.5 billion won.

Most of the companies with the highest market capitalization turned on the red light. EcoproBM, the largest stock on the KOSDAQ, rose 3.92%, and the same secondary battery-related stocks L&F (1.60%), Chunbo (0.04%) and Ecopro (4.92%) also closed higher. Game stocks such as Kakao Games (5.18%), Pearl Abyss (4.69%), Wemade (6.17%), Nexon Games (4.55%), and Com2uS (4.99%) rose more than 4%.

Celltrion Healthcare (5.71%) and Celltrion Pharm (3.52%), called the three Celltrion brothers, also rose sharply. Seegene, a diagnostic kit stock, also rose 6.01%. On the other hand, LX Semicon (-1.14%), Dongwha Enterprises (-0.58%), Simmtech (-0.59%), TCK (-1.31%) and SFA (-0.12%) closed lower.

The stock that rose the most on the KOSDAQ that day was Giant Step. On the other hand, SHNL and Seyoung DNC, which fell the most, were listed.
