Thiruvananthapuram: Kovid-19 was confirmed for 2802 people in the state on Sunday. It has been confirmed today that 12 deaths in the last few days were due to Kovid-19. In addition, 66 deaths have been reported which have been appealed by the Central Government under the new guidelines of the Supreme Court. This brings the total death toll in the state to 48,113. 2606 people who were diagnosed and treated were cured.

50,180 samples were tested in the last 24 hours. The Weekly Infection Population Ratio (WIPR) is 6 wards in 5 Local Government Areas above 10. There will be strict control here.

There are currently 1,04,957 people under surveillance in various districts of the state. Of these, 1,01,682 are under home / institutional quarantine and 3275 are under hospital surveillance. A total of 149 people were newly admitted to the hospital.

Currently, out of 19,021 Kovid cases, only 10.7 per cent are admitted to hospitals / field hospitals. Of those diagnosed on Sunday, 48 were from outside the state. 2595 people were infected through contact. Contact sources for 130 are not clear. 29 health workers were affected by the disease. 19,021 people have been diagnosed with the disease and are still undergoing treatment. 51,84,587 have so far been freed from Kovid.
