Record increase in the number of people hospitalized with Kovid in the United States as omicron continues to spread globally. More than one lakh Kovid patients were admitted to the hospital yesterday alone.
This is the highest rate since January last year. The U.S. has seen an increase in the number of people being hospitalized with Kovid since December.
Kovid confirmed that there are 6,62,000 new people in the United States. Three days ago, 10 lakh cases were confirmed in 24 hours. More than five lakh people have been affected by Kovid every day for the last 10 days.
There are also concerns that the rising number of omicron cases and the high number of hospital admissions could lead to famine, including in hospital beds. The U.S. is trying to intensify the supply of vaccines for Kovid prevention.
