Kuwait City: In Kuwait, restrictions are placed on the transfer of visas from the government sector to the private sector for foreigners. Local media reported that the decision in this regard was issued by the Public Authority for Manpower.
The new decision is a part of making indigenization more efficient in the government-private employment sector. Meanwhile, the authorities said that three sections have been exempted from the new decision.
Exemptions are granted to foreigners married to local women, Palestinian citizens with valid documents and foreigners with university degrees under 60 years of age. But the authorities have clarified that the applications of such persons will be subject to conditions.
