This is the first new product of AVTOVAZ in 2022, albeit quite modest. Special version Black the classic Niva Legend, XRAY Cross passenger cars, Vesta Cross and Vesta SW Cross, and now such a variety has appeared in the Lada Niva Travel SUV.
The basis is taken from the Comfort equipment with one airbag, air conditioning, audio preparation and heated front seats. This Niva initially has black exterior mirrors, wheel arch linings and bumpers, and in the Black version, light-alloy wheels are also painted in this color. Plus, roof rails have been added (initially they are in more expensive versions) and nameplates with the name of the configuration on the window frames of the rear doors.
Inside, the original seat upholstery with diamond stitching, a black ceiling and regular textile floor mats. This concludes the list of features for the Black version. Lada Niva Travel Black will be on sale by the end of winter. The price has not yet been announced, but it can be assumed that the increase relative to the Comfort version (937 thousand rubles) will be 15-20 thousand rubles.
Last year, sales of Niva Travel grew by 28%: 25415 cars were sold against 19824 cars under the Lada and Chevrolet brands a year earlier. Alas, AVTOVAZ is not planning technical modernization of the model. But this year it will eliminate internal competition: the five-door Legend Niva will be discontinued.
