Lagos de Moreno will have a Family Medicine Clinic for ISSSTE beneficiaries

During his tour of Jalisco, the general director of ISSSTE, Pedro Zenteno Santaella, announced that in Lagos de Moreno will expand the Family Medicine Unit to convert it into a Clinic:

“When it becomes a family medicine clinic, services are going to be expanded, the budget is going to be increased to make adjustments to the clinic, constructions to strengthen something that we have been saying about clinical analysis, a laboratory is going to be built here, x-rays we are going to have and we are going to promote oral health, the dental issue is the tasks that we take on”.

He also highlighted the creation of the Health City in Encarnación de Díaz by the municipality and the IMSS, in which the ISSSTE will also have its office.

He anticipated that There are more than 120 million pesos for this first stage of reinforcing the first level of care in clinics throughout the country:

“At this stage we have around 126 million pesos that we are going to allocate to some 100, 105 clinics, on average one million pesos per clinic in the different states and in the year 2023 we are going to attend 533 clinics and we are almost talking about close to almost 450 million pesos”.

Regarding the insecurity that exists in the region, he pointed out that there have been some vandalisms in the Attention Centers:

“Some units have told me that they have been vandalized or have gotten involved, but well, that is already going down, hopefully it will be controlled.”
