Actress Aparna Balamurali shares her experience of being called by Mohanlal to congratulate her on the release of her debut film Mahesh’s Pratikaram.
In an interview given to Popperstop Malayalam channel, the actor was answering the host’s question that what is the one memory that comes to mind about Lalettan and what is the question that he thinks should be asked to him.
“After Mahesh’s Revenge, Laletan called me through its producer Santhosh Uncle. Called and congratulated me and talked a lot. It was like receiving a terrible award.
Because like that, it was a big thing for me to call and appreciate an actor, an artist from whom we have always learned a lot from watching movies.
After that I said I want to see Laleton. So I went to meet him with my mother and a friend. Met Laleton and had lunch together. That means a lot to me.
What I want to ask him is, how did he get to these characters that surprised us, roles like the one in the crown, in those days. “I am terribly curious to know what the preparations and expectations were like during that time,” said Aparna.
Meanwhile, the actress is currently basking in the glory of winning the National Award for Best Actress for her performance in Sudha Konkara’s Surarai Potri.
Aparna’s latest release is the thriller film ‘Ini Awadab’ directed by Sudheesh Balachandran. The film continues to run in theaters garnering good reviews.
