Lamparter in Ruka second behind Riiber – winter sports

Ruka – Johannes Lamparter made it onto the podium for the first time in the second World Cup competition of the season. The defending World Cup champion defended his second place following jumping with a solo run behind the superior Jarl Magnus Riiber in Ruka on Saturday. The Norwegian won in 26:17.3 minutes, 53.8 seconds ahead of the Tyrolean. Riiber also took the overall lead in the World Cup before the mass start on Sunday. Third place went to Jörgen Graabak (NOR/+1:26.8).
