A woman lost her life on Saturday after coming face to face with another car in Saint-Lin-Laurentides, in Lanaudière.
The accident occurred around 8 a.m. on Route 158. The two vehicles collided head-on.
Both drivers were seriously injured and taken to hospital. While one of the two victims succumbed to his injuries, the other is in stable condition, said Marythé Bolduc, spokesperson for the Sûreté du Québec (SQ).
Route 158 was closed in both directions to allow the investigator and the SQ reconstructionist to carry out their work.
