Climate stickers have to go to jail!

Germany’s climate radicals are getting crazier!

For months, chaotics from the group “Last Generation” have been regularly blocking streets, recently even sticking themselves to works of art, like on Wednesday in Frankfurt/Main or on Tuesday in Dresden.

Now the police are demanding tougher action by the courts against the climate chaos!

► Rainer Wendt (65), head of the German police union, to BILD: “These are not demonstrators, but radical extremists who reject our rule of law.” The incidents in Frankfurt and Dresden showed that the chaotic people “every inhibition” had fallen: “If we let them do so, there is a risk of the most serious criminal offences. These people belong behind bars!”

Wendt continues: “It is scandalous how the media and politicians sometimes downplay these criminals as activists – because they are committed to the supposedly right cause. Sections of the Left, Greens and SPD formally encourage them to break the law. But the goal of a protest shouldn’t decide whether you obey the law. That would be the end of the rule of law.”

“Fines are not enough”

Cathleen Martin, chairwoman of the police union in Saxony, calls for “accelerated proceedings” by the courts against the climate chaos BILD: “Such people should be convicted within three or four working days.” Judgments with a “signal effect” are needed: “It is not enough if proceedings against conditions or small fines are discontinued. These radicals learn nothing from this.”

Means: climate glue in jail! Because, according to Martin: “As a police officer, it’s frustrating when you pick up the same demonstrators day after day and take them into custody.”

In the meantime, the police in Saxony have so much to do with radical climate protests that other tasks are neglected: “The judiciary must take action here!”
