The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (Minister Oh Yoo-gyeong) provided the status of medical product approvals for the three weeks (12th to 18th) of December to strengthen transparency and reliability in the medical product approval review.
The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (headquarters) approved a total of 38 medical products in the third week of December. This brings the cumulative number of products in 2022 to a total of 1744 items.
For reference, last week, the new drug ‘Gemperi Inj’ (Dostalimab GlaxoSmithKline, Dec. 14) to treat endometrial cancer and the medical device ‘Blood Coagulation Reagent’ (Baekdudae Dec. 14) to check platelet dysfunction were released. ) was allowed.
The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety said, “We will continue to regularly provide the status of medical product approvals every week, and we will do our best to actively discover, disclose, and provide information that is of high interest to the public related to approvals.”
