The group’s profit before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) last year reached 392 million. euros – 36 percent. more than in 2022.

According to Jonas Janukėnas, CEO of ASG, the significantly increased volume of services shows that many of the world’s leading airlines see ACMI (aircraft leasing, maintenance and insurance – BNS) services as an integral part of their operations, helping to manage their aircraft fleet more efficiently. He expects the company to maintain its high growth rate in the future.

ASG claims to be the largest provider of ACMI services in the world.

In 2023, 96 percent the income group received from activities in Europe (67%), Asia (20%) and the regions of North and South America (6%).

Last year, the company continued its expansion in the Asia-Pacific region, where the group’s company in Indonesia, BBN Airlines Indonesia, began operations, and earlier this year, the group acquired the Australian airline Skytrans.

By the end of the year, the company plans to establish 4 more airlines providing ACMI services in Brazil, the Philippines, Thailand and Malaysia.

“The group will use the aircraft in Europe during the peak summer season, and during the winter the aircraft will be moved to regions with the opposite seasonality.” In this way, we will be able to use the capacity of our aircraft fleet to the maximum, and our customers, the world’s leading airlines, will receive aircraft during the seasonal peak period”, said the CEO.

At the end of last year, ASG had 200 planes, of which 159 were passenger planes and 41 were cargo planes.
