An eight-year-old girl who disappeared in the Kaluga region the day before has been found. The Investigative Committee of the region reported this on November 30.
According to investigators, the child, accompanied by police officers, was taken to the hospital for examination. Now the girl will be escorted to the investigative department in Kozelsk, where investigators will work with her. “The investigation into the criminal case continues,” added the press service of the regional Investigative Committee.
According to Irina Volk, a representative of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, concerned people noticed a crying girl on the side of the road in the Belevsky district of the Tula region – this is almost 50 kilometers from Kozelsk, where the child lives.
The girl’s namesake wrote on social networks that they requested a ransom. Telegram channels reported that the criminals allegedly demanded 1.5 million rubles in cryptocurrency. However, the child’s mother filed a complaint with the police.
