Microsoft is releasing a new Windows 11 update for Insiders today. This version 23570 brings a long-awaited fix, as it fixes crashes in the taskbar and file explorer. It was time.
File Explorer has taken an extremely important place in Windows 11. A few months ago, we had the appearance of different tabs and Insiders were able to discover a new design, fully integrating the elements of Microsoft 365. However, several crash issues had been identifiedtestifying to a functionality that is still far from ready… until today.
Microsoft has released a new update for Channel Dev Insiders. This promises fix file explorer bugs, but also from the taskbar. The latter were indeed subject to frequent slowdowns and crashes. There were also bugs spotted by Insiders, such as Start menu apps being displayed in a different language.
Windows 11 fixes File Explorer crashes
This fix is important because it shows that Microsoft puts an end to the new File Explorer which should be rolled out to the general public by the end of the year. A major challenge, given that the application has taken up a very large place in Windows 11 and that everything must be perfect for peaceful navigation.

Please note that this update also improves the Copilot AI assistant (not available in Europe). It can now be used on several screens at the same time and you can switch from one use to another by simply pressing the icon in the taskbar. The Xbox application has also been slightly revised.
Remember that Insiders updates are reserved for people registered with the Microsoft program. Everyone can have access to it via the Windows 11 settings menu. Thus, it is possible to test the new features before the general public but be careful, everything is not completely finalized yet. In fact, there are many bugs, crashes or other errors and it is your mission to report them to Microsoft.
