The Meteorological Authority stated that there is a dense cloud cover that affects most parts of the country, blocking the sun’s rays, and rain can fall from it.
The Meteorological Authority announced details of the weather and the most prominent weather phenomena expected during the period from Friday, May 26, 2023, to Tuesday, May 30, 2023.
The details are as follows:
Friday 26 May
Wind activity exciting sand and dust: on areas of the northwestern coasts, the western desert, and southern Upper Egypt, at intermittent intervals.
Light rain may be medium with an incidence of approximately 30%: over areas of the northwestern coasts and north of Lower Egypt, which are sometimes thundery, over intermittent periods over southern Sinai and the Red Sea mountain ranges and southern Upper Egypt.
Chances of light rain with an incidence of approximately 20%: in areas of the northeastern coasts, the Canal cities, Greater Cairo, southern Lower Egypt and northern Upper Egypt, at intermittent intervals.
