Sharjah (Al Ittihad)
The two artists, Belqis and Latifa, performed an artistic evening, which was held by Al-Majaz Theater, yesterday, in the context of the program of the Emirate of Sharjah Committee for the 51st “Union Day” celebrations, for the United Arab Emirates, within the “Hala Al-Majaz” season, in which they presented a group of their most beautiful songs.
The two artists appeared to their audience, in succession, to gift them an evening in which the delicate word mixed with the sweet melody, and their voices delighted the audience of Al Majaz Theater, which is experiencing the atmosphere of the Union Day.
Great interaction
At the beginning of the evening, the artist Belqis appeared to her audience, to release her voice in the space of the theater’s stands, amidst a full reception from the audience, who accompanied the songs with great interaction, and the artist kidnapped the ears with her voice, and the audience chanted with her the words of her songs, which followed one after the other, and included “a new case.” And “Majnoon”, “Mohamed Al-Majd”, “Show me a solution”, “In front of my mirror” and “We breathe passion”, and the audience responded to it in singing, in a scene that reflected the atmosphere of joy and interaction that prevailed in the evening.
New and old
In the second part of the evening, the artist, Latifa, took to the stage, and started her participation with the song “Don’t Go Far”, then followed it with “From My Country”, “I Hate You”, “I Love Your Love”, “in Arabic” and “Dar Zayed” and concluded with the song “ God willing,” amidst the crowd’s enthusiasm.
Latifa also presented, in the context of her participation, a bouquet of her most famous new and old songs, as she mixed songs of the past and the present, in a combination suitable for all generations, and in her choices she mixed lyrical colors in different dialects, to satisfy fans of her art of different nationalities.
Latifa sang a bunch of new songs, which were released in her latest album, which achieved great success, especially on various platforms, achieving 50 million views and listens, and for which she won the award for best singer in Africa.
Pride and love
Belqis expressed her pride in participating in the evening of Al-Majaz Theater on the occasion of the UAE’s celebrations of the fifty-first “Union Day”, while Latifa considered her participation an opportunity to express the depth of her relationship and love for the Emirates, and her pride in the progress and prosperity it has achieved. The proceeds of the evening were allocated to the Big Heart Foundation, the global humanitarian organization concerned with helping refugees and those in need around the world.
