As Julián Andrés Quintero Mazo, 34 years old, a native of the city of Medellín, a lawyer by profession and who lived in Puerto Asís, the person who died in a traffic accident that occurred at dawn this Thursday on the road was identified. Mocoa-Puerto Asis.
Jorge Carlosama, commander of the Villagarzón Fire Department, confirmed that around 2:00 am they received a call regarding the incident, in which they mentioned a truck-type vehicle that had burned following the strong collision.
According to the information, the incident was recorded at the height of the El Porvenir village, near the Cananguchal airport in this municipality, amid heavy rains.
Although the causes of the event have not been confirmed, the images show that the vehicle, with KIQ-360 license plates, suffered a spectacular collision and ended up off the road. Quintero Mazo was a lawyer by profession and enjoyed great recognition in the town of Puerto Asís, where he lived.
For his part, the fire commander insisted on the need to exercise caution when driving in the rain.
