Bloober Team and Anshar Studios share a preview of “The Final Note,” one of the new storylines they created exclusively for the new version of Layers of Fears.
This new version of the horror chronicle of Layers of Fear will launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC in early 2023. Layers of Fears aims tounify and deepen the stories that connect Layers of Fear et Layers of Fear 2while expanding on the story fans have come to know and love with new, original chapters.
This new trailer focuses on the future and what’s new. The Bloober team is delighted to reveal that The Final Note focuses on a character fans of the series have been waiting for a long time to know more. Indeed, this new chapter will allow players to take control of the painter’s wifea devastated musician whose full side of the story we’ve yet to hear, offering a new perspective behind the family tragedy.
But that’s not all, the most discerning will have seen an enigmatic lighthouse at the end of the trailer. This is a brief reference to a new place which will help tie the stories of the first and second game together, further explaining how these seemingly separate events are actually intertwined, sharing a web in the masterpiece that is the Layers of Fear universe.
