Learn about the traffic diversions heading to Mariouteya due to the extension of the ring road

The General Directorate of Giza Traffic started, a little while ago, “midnight”, to make diversions in front of the movement of vehicles to implement the development and expansion of the ring road in the Giza area, where the work takes 6 days amid the presence of services to meet any densities of vehicles.

The General Directorate of Giza Traffic assigned services to run the movement in conjunction with the implementation of the development and expansion works of the ring road in the area between the Autostrad road up to the top of the Mariouteya road, and the start of the installation of concrete beams in the body of the ring road in both directions above Rabie Al-Jizi Street and the railway line, which requires a complete closure. Rabea Al-Jeezy Street at its intersection with the bottom of the Ring Road in the direction coming from Giza Square towards Munib Square only, for a period of (6 days) starting from 12 am today Saturday until 6 am next Thursday, provided that the work is 24 hours.

Traffic diversions were carried out as follows:

The movement of vehicles on Rabie Al-Jizi Street coming from Giza Square and wishing to walk in the direction of Al-Moneeb Square, they enter before the closure area in the other direction through a new rotation opening on the central island, after converting the other direction (coming from Al-Moneeb Square) to two directions and completing the detour for a distance of (120 meters) ), then return to the original road towards Al-Munib Square through the turning hole located on the central island, after bypassing the closing and works area.

For its part, the General Directorate of Giza Traffic has appointed the necessary traffic services and coordinated with the executing company to put in place technical assistance and all equipment indicating the presence of works in the area, to ensure the security and safety of citizens.
