The Ministry of the Interior has created a hotline number 15558 to request the “mobile traffic” service, in addition to taking measures to prepare an electronic application on mobile phones through which the service can be requested and cars can be transferred to (individuals in their places of residence – industrial facilities – educational facilities).

The actual start of operating the mobile centers for traffic services as of Sunday, February 20, 2022 in the governorates of (Cairo – Giza – Alexandria – Aswan – Matrouh) throughout the week, starting from 10 in the morning until 10 in the evening in preparation for its circulation in all governorates of the Republic, where the centers were strengthened The mobile phone has the human and technical force necessary to provide the service completely electronically (without papers – electronic payment).

This comes within the framework of the Ministry of Interior’s strategy, which aims, in one of its axes, to take all measures that would modernize public services.

This came in continuation of the Ministry of Interior’s keenness to keep pace with the aspects of development and modernization and to maximize the benefit from the Egyptian state’s efforts towards digital transformation with the aim of facilitating citizens in providing public services and expanding the field of providing these services at the level of the Republic, and within the framework of the cooperation protocol concluded between the Ministries of Interior and Planning for the creation of technology centers Mobile to provide various public services, which include among its components the preparation of cars to work in them as distinct mobile licensing units to provide services (extracting driving licenses – extracting driving licenses – extracting an electronic poster – automatic technical examination – traffic requirements) for cars (ownership – light transport up to 1.5 tons ) .
