“Leave the World Behind” (“Leave the world behind” in Spanish) is one of the latest Netflix releases arriving in 2023. The long-awaited film, starring actors such as Julia Roberts and Mahershala Ali, combines psychological thriller with post-apocalyptic elements . Considering Clay’s peaceful nature, there was no problem. The biggest doubt might lie with Amanda, but her final scene with Ruth, where they both watch New York City being bombed holding hands, tells us that they have formed a bond and are willing to help each other.

Therefore, we can assume that the Sandfords and the Scotts find the bunker in the neighbors’ house and take refuge there. At least for a long time, they will be safe and have supplies to survive. As long as no problem arises.

The people, organizations or governments behind the attack on the United States are never revealed, but it is assumed that they have been enemies that the country has generated in many of its past incursions and interventions.
