The Toyota brand intends to launch a new version of the legendary SUV on the world market next fall. This is a revived version of the Rankle 70 model. informs Edition “Behind the wheel” today, January 30, the car will retain the classic features – round-shaped headlights and a 2.8-liter engine.
The publication also broadcasts an almost simultaneous comment by brand fans on automotive forums – “It’s about to come out!”.
The revived Rankle 70 (Nanamaru) can be used by individuals, commercial structures, and road services. The car will be equipped with a 1GD engine. By the way, the same diesel 2.8-liter engine is on the Land Cruiser Prado.
Another feature that unites the two cars is the same 6-speed automatic.
The Toyota brand left Russia last year. Therefore, if the novelty enters the Russian market, it will be only under the parallel import scheme.
