A member of the “Strong Lebanon” bloc, Representative Jimmy Jabbour, tweeted on his Twitter account, writing, “I call upon Speaker Berri to call the House of Representatives to convene in response to the European Parliament’s decision.”
He added, “Lebanon is the homeland of the Lebanese, and there is no place in it for settlement projects, and it is not a back garden for the region’s wars.”
He continued, “We are concerned today, and before any other day, that the response be to open the doors of maritime migration towards European shores.”
