A large gap terrified drivers on the naked public road, especially since it came at the beginning of the season of storms and thunder, which increases the level of danger on the roads. So what if that gap was on the naked elbow, which is famous for its danger?

In the details, drivers passing on the Arayya-Kahhala road were surprised by a large gap dividing the already dangerous road, completely baring the right side of it towards Beirut, which makes the driver think himself for a moment as if he is on the brink of an abyss.

The “Lebanon Debate” lens captured the terrifying scene, despite the timid signs placed to warn cars passing there.

Lebanon Debate contacted a member of the Aaraiya municipality, Dr. Elias Antoun, who revealed that “this property is owned by the person called (K.A.), who is from the Aaraiya area, and he wanted to benefit from it and establish a MALL with office buildings.”

He considered that “the project owner is committed to all precautionary and legal measures, as he began pouring concrete from the upper side of the project, which may collapse, especially since we are approaching the winter season.”

He pointed out that “the person called (K.A.) is doing everything in his power and effort to complete the necessary work before the beginning of winter so that these works do not pose any danger, and he is certainly committed to the law.”

Antoun reassured, “All drivers that there is no danger on the road, especially since driving there must be careful due to the danger of the elbow,” considering that “the project does not pose any danger because its owner is adhering to all the precautions required of him, and he began pouring the support walls before completing the project.” Excavation work to avoid collapses on the public road.
