The father, who specializes in meteorology, Eli Khneisser, said in a video on his Facebook account that a depression will hit Lebanon, as of Friday afternoon.
In the details, Khneisser indicated that there are wet masses stationed between Greece and western Turkey that will begin to gradually deviate towards Cyprus and Lebanon.
Khneisser pointed out that the weekend will be very rainy and there will be 90% thunderstorms, and there is a possibility of hail, especially in coastal areas.
He continued, saying, “The rain will be distributed over the Lebanese and Syrian coastline, and the areas most vulnerable to rain in Lebanon are the southern regions. Snow will fall at an altitude of 2,200 and above.”
According to Khneisser, the heavy rains will continue until Sunday afternoon, and the wave will gradually recede on Monday, and the temperatures will rise again.
