LeBron James retiring? Chris Paul reassures his world

If his performances remain exceptional, the Los Angeles Lakers winger LeBron James is inexorably approaching the end of his career. At 37, the King will play his 20th season during the 2022-2023 financial year.

And inevitably, despite its recent extension until 2024 (with a “player option” for 2025), the debates are beginning to heat up in relation to his future retirement. But for his part, the leader of the Phoenix Suns Chris Paul refuses to worry.

With LBJ’s longevity at the highest level, the ex-Los Angeles Clippers player still sees him lasting in the NBA.

“Once you figure out how to operate and you know it, even as you get a little older, it doesn’t matter. So Bron isn’t going to slow down anytime soon. Everyone can stay cool,” assured Chris Paul, with a big smile, for The Old Man & The Three podcast.

And indeed, LeBron James has found the key to persist. Despite minor physical problems that have hampered him in recent years, the native of Akron remains one of the best players in the world. A real feat at his age. We will therefore have to take advantage of it to the end.

For Shaq, LeBron James stays behind MJ and Kobe “but has a plan”
